In 8th grade I decided to tryout for the volleyball team and fell in love. I played the next four years in high school. My parents helped me get to the next level and I played club volleyball going into my freshman year of high school and played through my senior year. I played and trained with the intent of going to college and ended up with a few offers out of state but chose the route to stay in San Antonio and attend a junior college.

I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I started playing volleyball in 8th grade. I have an identical twin sister that we shared our passion for volleyball together growing up. I am married and have been for 13 years. We have 4 children that are very involved in team sports. We have one daughter and three boys. Between the four they play volleyball, basketball, football, baseball, run track and all do swim team during the summer! We stay very busy and love every minute of it. I have been so blessed to be a part of the STVA family for five years now.
