NEW COACH ANNOUNCEMENT
COACH EDDIE DAHL JR
[SPECIAL COACH SHOUT OUT] Parents and players, please join me and the entire club in giving a big HIGH FIVE to COACH EDDIE for being a part of the #STVA family.
Coach Eddie has over 20 years of coaching experience both girls and boys. As a Head Coach, he has led his team to qualify for nationals twice, 13 USA and 12 USA. His teams are always prepared, competitive and fight to the last point!! As the Club Director, he has led his staff and created a program that is climbing the National Ladder.
We are excited to have Coach Eddie as Head Coach of #18Mizuno the upcoming 2023-24 #CompetitiveVolleyball season at STVA. We appreciate having him on board and the vast experience he brings to South Texas Volleyball Academy.

Let's get to know Coach Eddie
Why do you do this?
I come from a family of volleyball. My oldest sister played at Montevallo University. My father coached and ran the club for years. My three daughters play at STVA and in the 2021-22 season and the 2022-23 season all three girls qualified for Nationals. Not sure too many people have accomplished that. I absolutely love coaching kids!!
Volleyball Accomplishments?
Yes, I played!!! Played at Lindenwood University and was the starting setter for 3 of the 4 seasons. Team never finished below 3rd place at Nationals. All-Time Assist Leader at Lindenwood University.
What are your expectations from your athletes?
Never Quit. Work as hard as you can every time you play the game. Do not take anything for granted, you only get to play competitive for a few years, so while you have the chance go out, compete and work your tail off.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I hate wearing shoes. The team is going to have a great day when I arrive in flip flops.
