Description: South Texas Volleyball Academy is rolling out our first ever STVA Volley-Tots Training Academy. This is a program is for athletes 10 and under (1st-4th grade/ boys and girls) that provides the opportunity to train and develop skills needed at the club volleyball level. The vision for this program is the foundation of a continuous pipeline for young athletes to train year-round and eventually play on an STVA club team. Athletes will have two skill practices a week run by STVA club coaches.  This program will train players at a high level without the price or initial time commitment that club volleyball brings. There will be a limited number of slots for this program as we want training to be efficient, however there will be no tryouts. When athletes finish the STVA- Volley-Tots Training Academy in November they have several options for next steps. They can join an STVA mini club team that will practice once a week for 1.5 hours and play in developmental club tournaments, they can try-out for a 9U/10U STVA Mizuno or Navy full season club volleyball team, OR they can join the next session of STVA Volley-Tots Training (December- May). Below is an overview of the pipeline our 1st-4th graders can go through.
