NEW COACH ANNOUNCEMENT

COACH JORDAN RUIZ

Coach Jordan Announcements 2023 (FB Post)

[SPECIAL COACH SHOUT OUT] Parents and players, please join me and the entire club in giving a big WELCOME to COACH JORDAN for being a part of the #STVA family. We are pleased to announce she will be a head coach for 16 Mizuno as well as stepping in as Assistant Director of Operation!

Coach Jordan has completed a decade of dedicated coaching with the club team. The team has qualified for nationals in the 15s age group for two consecutive years, and achieved a noteworthy 2nd place finish in the liberty division last year at the nationals. Coach Jordan is a notable alumnus, having been inducted into the Antonian Hall of Fame. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business, and has also coached high school volleyball for five years.

Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for TGCA, and has even published an article for their organization.

Coach Jordan has a clear passion for volleyball, and likes to lead by example with strong character and integrity. She is an effective and a clear communicator who values the athlete as a whole and develops respectful relationships by building meaningful rapport and by being supportive, goal oriented, honest, and sharing her deep understanding of the sport.

Her motto to bring out the best in her athletes is, "Trust the process."

We are excited to have Coach Jordan as Head Coach of #16Mizuno in the upcoming 2023-24 #CompetitiveVolleyball season at STVA.  We are very pleased to have her on board and the vast experience she brings to South Texas Volleyball Academy.

Thank you, Eddie Dahl and STVA family
